Chocolate Malt - Hutchinson or Nash.

10.0 ml Chocolate Malt
10.0 ml Mollases
1.0 ml Intense Sweetener

Chocolate Malt has always been one of my favourite flavours, it’s one of the all time great carp catchers. I have always seemed to have the best results from this flavour when using it at higher levels than most other flavours. For Chocolate Malt, 10ml seems about right.

Try it with 10 or 20ml of liquid mollases with 10ml of Chocolate Malt and 1ml of Sweetener.  If not try the Chocolate Malt on it's own with just the sweetener.  Also well worth a try is adding 10ml of corn steep liqour, with the chocolate malt and mollases, all at 10ml.

Scopex - Nash.

7.0 ml Scopex
2.0 ml Protaste or Intense Sweetener.
or
6.0 ml Scopex
2.0 ml Cream Cajouser
2ml Intense Sweetener or Protaste.

Scopex is one of the all time classics. I can remember using it on a water some years ago, with a mate of mine and we seemed to do much better at 3ml per mix. This is much lower than the levels suggested opposite. Since then I have always seemed to better at higher levels, like those suggested on the right. So try it at both levels and see which works best for your water.

 

 

Ester Cream - Solar.

5.0 ml Ester Cream (Solar)
1.0 ml Sweetener

This flavour is an excellent carp attractor.  I've already mentioned it combined with Ester Strawberry on the "Fruit Flavour" page.  It can be used on it's own, with 1 or 2 mils of Esterblend 12 added to boost it a bit.  Or for something different try it with Squid and Octopus at 4 to 5 mils each.
